Customer: What about connecting two routers to one cable modem. I trust your answer but I'm a little gun shy having had so much problems with the other two routers so just in case I would like to keep and use my old router for my laptop while allowing my new router to be availble for other tasks.

Dec 12, 2016 · You can't connect both routers to the same modem. But you can connect the second router with a network cable to the first and "daisychain" it to extend wifi to other areas. If that's not feasible, then you'll have to hope one of the two can be configured as a wireless extender.

After that he seems to be in hurry n run off without helpin me to set up, onli jus ensure that my 5s can connect to the 5G wireless. I have got a guy to come through and join up the phone line in the bedroom to the main line so I can run a router/internet in my room.
